A blog from a North-norwegian human-centered technologist

I am a human centred technologist, an engineer and a researcher with particular focus on human computer interaction and sociotechnical systems, or systems to support social interaction.

I live in Northern Norway, in a city called Tromsø, where I was born and raised. I went to university at UiT, which has also been my employer since 2004 (full time). I have an engineering degree in Computer Science (MSc) and started pusuing a PhD in 2004 (still at UiT). In other words, I have spent most of my life in Tromsø. In 2007 I took my family to live in Davis, California for one year while at a reseach stay at UC Davis, at the Health Informatics department.

Now (as of 2012), I still live in Tromsø.
